Gauntlet Basics

Here you can find the basics about gauntlet and also our guild's tactic for the event.

Gauntlet is like a tower defense game, you need to defend an angel statue from many waves of wolves. The wolves spawn from 3 directions: Bottom, Middle and Top lane. The angel statue starts with 10 000 HP and once it gets destroyed the event is over. There is 15 waves and if you successfully defend the statue you get great rewards.

With every wave the wolves getting stronger, their hp raises with a huge amount for each upcoming wave. There are two types of wolves. The ones we call the "Easy wolves", but the last wolf of each wave is dramatically stronger than the easy ones.

You can use morale buffs once you entered the gauntlet every 3 minutes. You also can defeat dragons which if gets killed give the whole team some kind of buff. (You find 2 dragons / lane)

That was the brief introduction about gauntlet, now lest see our tactic for the event:

Once we enter, we have 2 "free" minutes until the first wave of wolves spawn. During this time everyone rushing the dragons to get the dragon buffs as soon as possible. The order of slain is : Bottom => Middle =>Top (It favors the mage players, but since i am the hammer yet, we decided this direction. Once we will have more high BR warriors than mages we might change direction to the opposite.)

When the first wave spawns:

Goro takes care of top lane, Halibel middle, and Mistic bottom. Others simply ignore the wolves and keep killing the dracs. After all the dracs are dead, the others join us to the wolf hunt, separated to 3 balanced groups each lane.

We used this tactic lately with great success. Gauntlet starts every 2nd day at 22:30!
